Weapons - Firearms

The following is the Gun Law for the State of Michigan

If a character is under the Age of 18: Juvenile Possession Law -- bars possession of handguns by juveniles (usually those under 18). Some states grant exceptions for guns used for hunting and target practice. And Juvenile Sale or Transfer Law -- bars or restricts the sale or transfer of specified guns to a youth (usually, a person under 18).

A character must have a permit to purchase a hangun. The character must also registered the firearm with the local police and must also have a permit to carry the hangun. (These rules pertain only to handguns, not rifles/shotguns). To get an Carry Permit IC you must meet with a Storyteller or Narrator, who will run the scene for you.

Sanctioning

The specific Genre STs are the only ones able to sanction Characters.  All 'nilla type mortals can be sanctioned by any Storyteller on, but ALL mortal type characters should be 17 or older.  Characters younger than 17 will not be approved.
